
MEET DAN

Dan Kordik is a long-time resident of the DuPage County Board District 2. Dan has been actively involved in community for over three decades, having served on the District 45 School Board, as a Villa Park Planning and Zoning Commissioner, on numerous citizen's advisory committees and as York Township Clerk. Dan has faithfully served as a Republican Precinct Committeeman for almost thirty years and served a term as Chairman of the York Township Republicans.
PERSONAL: Married to Sharen. They have 6 children and 4 grandchildren. Dan grew up in Elmhurst, raised his family in Villa Park before moving to Oak Brook where he now resides.
POLITICAL AND CIVIC INVOLVEMENT AND COMMUNITY SERVICE:
York Township Clerk: October 2005 to May 2021
Chose not to run for re-election to pursue higher office. When he announced his candidacy for DuPage County Board Member (for District 2) at the January York Township Republicans Meeting, He stated that Public Safety would be his top budget priority.
